Overview
Under the direction of the Supervisor, the Customer Service Representative is responsible for scheduling patient appointments and managing the clinical medical records system. The Customer Service Representative will serve as a liaison between patients and hospital staff.
Qualifications Required EducationHigh school diploma or GED required.
Preferred EducationCompletion of a medical terminology course preferred.
Required Skills And Qualifications- Demonstrates effective verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to manage stressful situations professionally, calmly, and courteously.
- Basic knowledge and understanding of medical terminology.
One to two years of customer service experience required.
Preferred ExperienceTwo years of customer service experience in a healthcare-related setting preferred.
Age of Patients ServedAll age groups.
