Dental Assistant

• Assist the dental team in providing exceptional patient care.
• Prepare treatment rooms, sterilize instruments, and maintain a clean, organized environment.
• Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and post‑treatment care.
• Support dentists during procedures, anticipating their needs and ensuring a smooth workflow.
• Perform basic dental procedures under the guidance of a licensed dentist.
• Manage appointment scheduling and maintain patient records accurately.

• Previous dental‑assisting experience or relevant education is preferred; we’re willing to train the right candidate.
• Excellent organizational skills with an eye for detail.
• Strong communication skills and a friendly, compassionate demeanor.
• Ability to multitask and thrive in a fast‑paced environment.
• Proficiency in dental software and technology is a plus.

• Connecticut:
  Certification and proof of formal training to expose X‑rays.
• Florida:
  Expanded Functions Dental Assistant (EFDA) certification and proof of formal training to expose X‑rays (including FDOH Permit to expose X‑rays).
• Georgia: CPR Certification, EFDA certification, and proof of formal training to expose X‑rays.
• Massachusetts: CPR Certification, proof of formal training to expose X‑rays, BORID certification, and annual CE requirements per state regulations.
• Michigan:
  Must furnish evidence of X‑ray training certification upon hiring; if you lack certification at that time, you receive an 8‑week period to submit it.
• New Jersey:
  Proof of X‑ray training.
• New York:
  Not applicable.
• Ohio:
  Proof of formal training to expose X‑rays (including FDOH Permit to expose X‑rays).
• Texas: CPR Certification and TSBDE: TX State Board of Dental Examiners.
