Teacher of Visually Impaired in Saint Augustine, FL

This on-site opportunity is seeking an experienced Teacher for the Visually Impaired (TVI) to support students within a K-12 public school setting. The position is based in Palatka, FL, serving a caseload of nine students in grades 3 through 10, primarily located at the Children's Reading Center Charter School. The role involves some travel within the district to provide specialized instruction and support for visually impaired students.

• Schedule:
  
  2 to 3 days per week (1425 hours depending on evaluation needs)

• Deliver instructional services tailored to students with visual impairments
• Conduct evaluations to determine individual student needs
• Collaborate with school staff and families to implement effective strategies and accommodations
• Maintain documentation and progress reports in compliance with district requirements

• Active Florida Teacher of the Visually Impaired (TVI) Educator Certificate required
• Experience working with visually impaired students in a school setting
• Ability to manage a caseload and adapt to varying weekly hours
• Willingness to travel onsite within the district
