Position Overview:
The Department of Humanities at Flagler College invites applications for a full-time Assistant Professor in Anthropology
, with a focus in archaeology, to contribute to our undergraduate Anthropology Program. The teaching load is four courses per semester
, and responsibilities include student advising and committee service.

Qualifications:

Ph.D. in Anthropology, Archaeology, or a related field (ABD considered).

Demonstrated commitment to undergraduate teaching and student engagement.

Evidence of active research and professional development.

Broadly-trained archaeologists are preferred, particularly those focused on Native North America or Latin America and interested in developing local, community-based field projects.

Experience in lab-based courses, archaeological fieldwork, and mentoring undergraduate research is highly valued.
