Position: Occupational Therapist – Hand Therapist

Location: 1690 US 1 South St. Augustine, FL 32086

Schedule: Part‑time weekdays; schedule TBD

Compensation: $40.00–$47.00 per hour, pending experience

Select Physical Therapy is seeking a part‑time Hand Therapist/Occupational Therapist for our outpatient orthopaedic center. While a certified hand therapist (CHT) is preferred, we will consider occupational therapists who have completed a Level II fieldwork in hands, which is required. We partner with a network of hand therapists and CHTs to provide mentorship and support for occupational therapists aspiring to become CHTs.

• National hand therapy program spanning 32 states with over 300 CHTs and 300 hand therapists.
• Mentorship program (available in most regions) for therapists pursuing their CHT credentials.
• Educational opportunities: national symposiums, journal clubs, continuing‑education programs, study groups, and additional certification courses.
• Collaboration with assistants and aides; opportunity to contribute to case management.
• High standard of care: evidence‑based practice, clinical expertise, and patient perception guide treatment.
• Personalized treatment: from evaluation and care planning to treatment and discharge.
• Relationship building: maintain positive interactions with centres, patients, and staff.

• Graduate of an American Occupational Therapy Association accredited program.
• CPR certification.
• Valid driver’s license.

• At least two years’ experience in custom splinting for pre‑ and post‑operative orthopaedics.
• Minimum two years in adult rehabilitation; hand and splinting experience preferred.
