Guest Service Specialist | Care Connect | PRN | Days

The Care Connect Guest Services Specialist role provides direct support to consumers and patients of the UF Health St. Johns Nocatee Health Village and the St. Augustine Care Connect office. This position will support Nocatee Community Space weekend operations by serving as a resource to connect consumers to the UF Health St. Johns programs and services and will assist in the oversight and booking of the Care Connect Community Space.

The Care Connect Guest Services Specialist will have an energetic passion for health and is focused on providing excellent customer service.

Overview

9 AM - 2 PM, Monday to Thursday – Whetstone location; every other Saturday – Nocatee location.

Responsibilities
  • Serve as primary UF Health St. Johns staff to support Nocatee Health Village weekend operations.
  • Purchase office supplies and keep storage room stocked and organized.
  • Maintain organizational files and documents.
  • Answer phones and route calls to appropriate persons.
  • Remain actively informed about programs, services, offerings and special events taking place.
  • Appropriately direct patients using directional tools and escort visitors to their destination, when appropriate.
  • Maintain proficiency on all Flagler Health+ health and wellness program offerings.
  • Monitor the building entrances to ensure they are functioning properly, are secured when needed, and ensure comfortable, safe access.
  • Resolve problems responsibly and manage conflicts positively.
  • Perform all other duties as assigned by management within job scope.
Qualifications Education / Training
  • High School Diploma/Equivalent
Experience Requirements
  • 1 year of Medical Clerical/Administrative, Retail, or Membership Sales experience.
Preferences

2 years of customer service experience in a health setting, retail, or membership sales experience preferred.

Additional Information

Level 2 DCF Background Screening required upon hire.
