As Southeast Orthopedic Specialists continues to grow, we are seeking a Team Care Coordinator to be the central point of contact for patients, providers, and the healthcare team. This role is key to ensuring patients receive seamless, timely care while supporting providers with clinical and administrative tasks.

- Serve as the primary liaison between patients, providers, and the healthcare team to ensure smooth care delivery.
- Guide patients through their healthcare journey, helping them understand conditions, medications, and provider instructions.
- Support providers by handling administrative and clinical tasks that allow more face‑to‑face patient care.
- Document patient visits accurately, including history, procedures, exams, and provider plans.
- Assist with in‑office procedures (injections, aspirations, suture removal).
- Complete disability/FMLA paperwork and call in prescriptions/refills.
- Schedule appointments and procedures; triage patient calls.
- Coordinate with WC adjusters, home health agencies, and nurse case managers.
- Manage provider schedules and submit/renew physical therapy orders.
- High school diploma/GED or equivalent (medical background or relevant coursework preferred).
- CMA certification or college degree in healthcare/anatomy is a plus.
- Strong organizational, typing, and computer skills.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to multi‑task, work under pressure, and maintain confidentiality.
- Typing speed of 40+ WPM; ability to work independently while supporting team efficiency.
