Job Title: Echo and Vascular Technician
Reports To: Director of Ancillary Services

UF Heat & Vascular 100 Whetstone Place, St. Augustine, Florida, 32086
- Registered Echo and Vascular Technologist who will be responsible for assisting medical staff in clinical tests to diagnose or assess the status of cardiac and vascular disease.
- Registered Echo and Vascular Technologist Requirements:
- Use of ultrasound instruments and non-invasive arterial pressure measurement techniques.
- Performs echo and vascular diagnostic studies according to established clinic protocols, using training and knowledge to apply appropriate tests to arrive at meaningful results.
- Reports tests to Director or Interpreting Physician in a timely manner.
- Maintains written and computer-based patient records with accuracy.
- Must be able to work independently while in a strong team environment.
- Must have strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Travel may be required occasionally covering Flagler, Duval and Clay counties.
Education:
- High school or equivalent (Preferred)
Experience:
- Adult Echo and Vascular Sonography: 1 year (Required)
- Experience with PACS and EMR preferred.
License/Certification:
- BLS Certification (Required)
- Adult Cardiac and Vascular Registry, ARDMS or CCI (Required)
Willingness to travel:
- 25% (Preferred)
