We are a trusted leader in rehabilitation services, helping patients achieve their goals through expert, personalized care. We're expanding our team and seeking a Certified Hand Therapist (CHT) who's passionate about upper extremity rehabilitation and delivering exceptional results.
Position SummaryAs a CHT at Lake Area PT, you'll work closely with physicians and rehabilitation professionals to provide specialized therapy for patients recovering from hand, wrist, elbow, and shoulder injuries or surgeries.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities- Conduct comprehensive evaluations of upper extremity conditions.
- Design and implement custom treatment plans to restore mobility and function.
- Fabricate custom splints and adaptive devices as needed.
- Collaborate with referring physicians and interdisciplinary teams to optimize care.
- Educate patients on injury prevention, ergonomics, and home programs.
Skills and Abilities
- Strong manual therapy, splinting, and patient education skills
- Certified Hand Therapist (CHT) credential required.
- Licensed Occupational Therapist (OTR/L) or Physical Therapist (PT) in Florida.
- Minimum of 3 years of clinical experience in hand or upper extremity rehabilitation preferred.
