Physician Assistant​/Pediatrics​/Florida​/Locum Tenens​/Physician Assistant ARNP

Avecina Medical is a thriving urgent care center established in 2005 with fifteen offices in Florida. We are looking for a physician assistant or nurse practitioner for our St. Augustine office.

Candidates should have the following:

-Unrestricted license to practice in Florida

-Min. of 1yr experience as PA/ARNP treating patients in a family practice or urgent care center

- Urgent care experience favored

-Well-versed in effective patient history taking, along with focused physical exams in an urgent care setting

-Broad knowledge of common diagnoses and treatments typically encountered in urgent care or fast-track settings

-Comfortable treating children 6 months and up

Schedule:

Our providers work two 12-hr shifts one week, three 12-hr shifts the following week, and alternate every other weekend 8am-5pm. Out of a 14-day pay period, our providers only work five 12 hours shifts and one weekend, consisting of 8am-5pm.
