Nuclear Med Technologist | PRN | Cardiovascular Diagnostics | St. Johns

Overview

Perform a full spectrum of diagnostic and therapeutic nuclear medicine procedures. Work with fellow staff technologists, supervisor and medical director to maximize patient throughput in a trauma one medial center teaching environment.

Required

Education:

Associate's degree;
Graduate of an approved nuclear medicine training program.

Necessary

Skills:

• Have the mathematical skills to properly calculate doses and apply routine nuclear medicine formulas as needed.
• Work with fellow technologist and professional staff to maximize patient workload.

Required Licensure/

Certifications:

• Certified by the Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board (NMTCB) and/or registered as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT(N)).
• Licensed by the State of Florida as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist.
• Current Basic Life Support for Healthcare Providers (CPR).

Required Experience:

Less one year - Graduate from an approved nuclear medicine program.

Preferred Experience:

One to two years experience preferred.
