Position: ERP Business Analyst | Fianancial Systems | Full Time | Day Shift

Overview

The ERP Analyst is the HR Information System “expert” to end-users in each of the HR functional areas. Assists HR end-users in accomplishing their goals and strengthening their effectiveness by using the HRIS system to its fullest potential. Leads initiatives resulting from requests for internal/external interfaces to third party software packages that rely on current employee demographics maintained in the systems.

Responsibilities
  • Provides support to the HR operations by providing analysis, reporting and system development to meet the needs of HR. Responds to, investigates and resolves HR data requests and HR system issues.
  • Conducts comprehensive testing of HR systems processes as they relate to upgrades and enhancements to the HR and third-party systems to determine potential impacts and determine resolutions. Conducts periodic audits of the systems and makes corrections accordingly.
  • Increases HR departmental effectiveness by educating HRIS systems users in functional areas of employment, HRIS, training and development, compensation, benefits administration and payroll processes.
  • Improves reporting value and effectiveness by designing and generating reports from HR systems and applications by developing and running complex reports to support functional area reporting needs for decision-making and staffing analysis requirements. Assists in the development of special report requests.
  • Develops and executes ad hoc queries and reports for distribution; performs additional analysis on data, as required, to ensure data integrity. Assures data maintenance and reporting are executed accurately and timely; communicates changes to users.
  • Maintains employee and core system tables/files in People Soft and other HR systems.
  • Perform all other duties as assigned by management within job scope.
Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Business Systems Applications, Business Administration, Computer Science or Related Area of Study is required

In lieu of degree, 8 years’ experience in HRIS with a Human Resources focus.

3 years of Professional Human Resources experience is required.

A minimum of People Soft system support experience is required.

Preferences:
Experience with People Soft, UKG Dimensions, and HRIS software desired.

Skills & Abilities:
Intermediate to Advanced Microsoft Excel and HRIS Reporting skills. Understands fundamentals of Performance Management. Demonstrates analytical skills in reporting and HR operations.
