Job Summary

As Area Director, you’ll be a strategic partner to both clients and internal teams—focused on multi-unit leadership, operational performance, and developing high-impact teams. You’ll oversee a portfolio of K-12 districts representing $25–35M in managed volume and lead a team of RDMs and Directors across multiple accounts. This role requires regular travel to client sites to provide hands‑on support, ensure program alignment, and drive results.

We’re looking for someone with strong multi‑unit experience, proven financial competency, and the ability to confidently address groups—whether in board meetings or district‑level discussions. Ideal candidates bring K-12 public school experience
, have managed $10M+ in volume, and excel at building relationships, navigating complex challenges, and leading through influence.

This is a highly visible role with significant growth potential, offering the opportunity to make a meaningful impact across multiple districts while coaching and empowering high‑performing teams.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Monitors the overall financial performance of the accounts to ensure profitability
  • Ensures consistent and fair administration of personnel policies
  • Manages planning, budget analysis and reporting for the region
  • Participates in the sales process to grow the region

Preferred Qualifications:

  • BS Degree preferred
  • Five to seven years of contract food service management experience
  • Strong leadership and communication skills
  • Financial acumen
  • Multi‑unit experience is preferred
