• Set up and operate powder coating equipment, including spray guns and booths.
• Select powder according to the company's color scheme and customer specifications, prepare and load powder.
• Apply powder coatings evenly and accurately to achieve the desired finish.
• Check the flow and viscosity of the powder.
• Monitor the coating process to ensure proper adhesion and coverage while adjusting sprayer valves and nozzle as needed.
• Troubleshoot equipment issues and perform routine maintenance.
• Ensure powder inventory and other related materials: filters, spare parts etc. are maintained to meet production requirements.
• Record operational data on specified forms, as required.
• Regulate the temperature and air circulation in drying ovens, collaborating with the Maintenance team to ensure that ovens and paint equipment are properly serviced and maintained.
• Maintain a clean and safe working environment, ensuring materials are cleaned from ceiling and walls of booth, conveyor hooks or grid, and from spray heads and hoses.
• Other duties as deemed appropriate by Management and the Company.

• Must have strong attention to detail.
• Must have strong communication skills.
• Must have basic computer skills and/or familiarity with a manufacturing based operating system.
• Willing to foster teamwork, communication, and mutual respect throughout the company.

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 1 year industrial powder coating, manual or automatic application experience.
• Experience operating Forklifts and other material handling equipment.

• Ability to walk and stand for extended periods of time.
• Ability to work in a non-climate controlled environment.
• Ability to speak clearly and concisely.
• Ability to pass a hazmat mask wear test.
• May be required to lift and/or carry up to 50 lbs.
• Must have hand/eye coordination with good hand dexterity; fingers need to be able to make small movements such as picking up small to large parts.
