* OPS SCNA Weekend Warrior program available at the rate of $19.44/hour. Eligible shifts are Monday to Friday after 3 PM, and all shifts are Saturday and Sunday. Must work at least one shift during the pay period. Does not have benefits.

Minimum Qualifications
  • Must be able to communicate effectively in English (reading, writing, and speaking).
  • Able to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Must possess a valid Certified Nursing Assistant license in Florida.
  • Must be willing and able to work a schedule that includes weekends and holidays.
  • Must have basic computer skills.
  • Successful completion of the due‑diligence process to include, but not limited to, a Level II background check and drug test.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience working as a CNA in a 120‑bed skilled long‑term care nursing facility.
  • Possess a valid certification in CPR/BLS.
  • High School Diploma or GED.
Position Description
  • Provide assistance necessary when giving residents the following activities of daily living nursing care: oral hygiene; bathing; dressing and grooming; hair and nail care; shaving; toileting; assistance with meals, nourishment and transportation to meal service areas, and mobility.
  • Routinely observe, identify, and report resident concerns/needs to supervisor.
  • Provide escort to resident appointments when required. Complete assignments timely, completely, and accurately. Accept assigned duties in a cooperative manner.
  • Perform restorative nursing measures as outlined in the care plan.
  • Perform simple nursing measures such as, but not limited to, applying splints, and positioning devices, making occupied and unoccupied beds, changing linens, etc.
  • Measure and record vital signs assigned. Measure and record intake and output according to the care plan. Observe, monitor, and report symptoms of potential skin breakdown and/or pressure ulcers to primary nurses.
  • Use appropriate techniques for mechanical lifts, transferring, turning, and positioning, range‑of‑motion exercises recognizing changes that place a resident at risk for pressure ulcers and falls.
  • Provide appropriate end‑of‑life care using appropriate techniques for assisting and.
