We are seeking a highly skilled Perioperative Registered Nurse (RN) to deliver exceptional, goal-directed nursing care across our premier surgical network. - Comprehensive Care: Provide individualized, goal-directed nursing care utilizing the nursing process and professional standards across assigned phases of perioperative care.
- Team Leadership: Perform all staff nurse activities and serve effectively as a Charge Nurse when assigned.
- Accountability: Maintain overall accountability for assigned patients across all age groups, supervising and delegating appropriate tasks to Surgical Technologists, Patient Care Associates, and Anesthesia Technologists.
- Collaboration: Partner under the direction of the Nurse Manager in accordance with departmental and hospital policies.
Job Requirements Required Education & Licensure
- Education: Associate’s Degree from an accredited school of nursing.
- Note:
Hires must obtain a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) degree from an accredited school within three (3) years of hire or transfer.
- Note:
- Licensure: Active license to practice nursing in the State of Florida.
- Certifications:
- BLS (Basic Life Support) from the American Heart Association.
- ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) from the American Heart Association.
- PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support) required within six (6) months of hire or transfer.
- Experience: Minimum of 1–2 years of related operating room (OR) experience.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing (BSN) upon hire.
- Specialty Certification in perioperative nursing.
- 2+ years of relevant perioperative nursing experience.
