Nease Animal Hospital is a well-established, fast-paced, and high-quality 3-doctor small animal practice in St. Augustine, FL. We have provided top-quality pet care for over 6 years, with online reviews highlighting our friendly and caring approach. Our services include wellness and holistic care, acupuncture, soft tissue surgeries, dentals, and more. We are looking to expand our team to support more patients in our community.
Our hours of operation are:
- Monday-Friday: 8am - 5pm
- Closed on weekends

Job duties include, but are not limited to:
- Pet restraint, triage of incoming patients, collection and analysis of lab samples, diagnostic imaging, management and nursing care of medical and hospitalized cases, administration of medications, communication of treatment plans with clients, surgical preparation and assistance, and anesthetic management.
- Must be able to withstand unpleasant odors and noises. May be exposed to bites, scratches, animal waste, and contagious diseases.
- Opportunities for growth through virtual and hands-on training and continuing development.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 1-year experience as a Veterinary Technician/Assistant preferred.
- Compassionate, calm, team player, multi-tasker, and strong communicator.
- Ability to properly restrain pets.
- Proficiency in sample collection, medical histories, lab tests, radiographs, and anesthesia monitoring is a bonus.
- Self-starter eager to expand knowledge and skills.
