Responsibilities:

Perform grooming services such as bathing, brushing, clipping, and styling pets according to breed standards or pet owner preferences.

Handle pets with care and ensure their safety and comfort throughout the grooming process.

Maintain cleanliness and organization in the grooming area.

Communicate effectively with pet owners to understand their grooming preferences and provide recommendations as needed.

Monitor pets for any health issues or abnormalities and report findings to the appropriate staff.

Assist with other tasks related to pet care or grooming as needed.

Qualifications:

Previous experience in pet grooming or related field preferred.

Knowledge of different breeds of dogs, as well as their specific grooming requirements.

Ability to handle pets safely and compassionately, including those that may be anxious or aggressive.

Strong communication skills to interact with pet owners and team members effectively.

Physical ability to perform heavy lifting and stand for extended periods.

Nice-to-have

Skills:

Experience in pet care, veterinary services, or animal handling.

Training in dog handling, dog training, or kennel operations.

Background as a veterinary assistant or pet sitter.
