Job DescriptioniDeal is searching for a Quality Technician to play a critical role in the efficient cost‑effective movement of high‑quality goods to the customer. This position is responsible for ensuring product quality and integrity while meeting/exceeding customer expectations and business goals. The role assists in establishing, maintaining and improving business and manufacturing quality systems. Maintaining metrics and leveraging data analysis to drive quality performance and reduce the cost of quality is key.
This position reports to the Director of Operations.

Primary Responsibilities- Supports the execution of the plant Quality roadmap, supporting the overall business and operational strategy
- Quality stakeholder for all products, processes, or equipment changes, evaluating the impact on meeting business and customer expectations
- Ensure products meet/exceed customer quality expectations, establishing clear specifications for plant employees to follow
- Manages the customer complaints process with regards to timelines, customer follow up, etc. to prevent escalation of issues. Reviews and trends of customer complaint data recommending improvement opportunities for all areas of the facility
- Report Quality metrics and managing roadmaps for implementation/improvement of key elements
- Audit the compliance of the quality system
- Ensure that suppliers provide the highest quality materials that are ready for use
- Other duties as assigned
- Must be comfortable in a high change/turnaround environment with the ability to develop/build effective processes
- Demonstrated Quality Mindset, understanding the impact of quality to the customer, various process elements on overall product quality, passion for quality
- Strong rigorous, disciplined problem‑solving and analytical skills with a focus on delivering customer expectations
- Manages time efficiently. Ability to manage multiple priorities without missing deadlines
- Fosters teamwork, communication, and mutual respect throughout the company
- Excellent written and verbal communications skills
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
- 2+ years of experience in a quality role
- Project Management preferred
- Leadership experience a plus
- Ability to walk and stand for extended periods of time
- Ability to work in a non‑climate‑controlled environment
- Ability to sit for extended periods of time while working on a computer
- Ability to use hands and fingers for typing and data entry
- Ability to speak clearly and concisely
- May occasionally be required to lift and/or carry up to 50 lbs.
