Quality Control Inspector / CMM Programmer
Sohacki Industries is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Quality Control Inspector / CMM Programmer to join our precision manufacturing team. This hands‑on position reports to the Quality Manager and ensures manufactured components meet customer and engineering requirements.
Responsibilities & Preferred Skills- Perform dimensional and visual inspections of precision‑machined components, including first‑piece, in‑process, final, and First Article inspections.
- Program, set up, and operate CMM equipment; PC‑DMIS experience preferred.
- Read and interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and GD&T.
- Use precision measuring equipment including micrometers, calipers, height gauges, bore gauges, and indicators.
- Complete inspection documentation and AS9102 First Article Inspection Reports (FAIRs).
- Identify nonconforming parts and work with production to resolve quality concerns.
- Experience with CNC machining, AS9100, ISO 9001, and/or AS9102 is a plus.
- Strong attention to detail, mechanical aptitude, communication, and problem‑solving skills.
- Quality inspection experience preferred; willing to train the right candidate.
