Security Officer, Full-Time, Nights, Baptist ED St. Augustine
Baptist Health is looking for a Security Officer to join our Protective Services Department at Baptist ED St. Augustine. The role focuses on ensuring the safety and security of patients, visitors, and employees by patrolling the medical center properties and monitoring new technologies such as metal detectors.
Shift DetailsFull-Time, Nights, 6:00 PM – 6:15 AM (rotating weekends and holidays required).
Responsibilities- Report any unusual circumstances and take appropriate corrective actions.
- Ensure the protection of individuals from harm by monitoring for safety hazards.
- Provide escort services.
- Respond to unsafe situations.
- Enforce hospital parking regulations.
- Assist individuals with obtaining help for vehicle problems.
High School Diploma/GED.
Education PreferredAssociate's Degree.
Experience- 1–2 years Law Enforcement Experience.
- 1–2 years Security Officer Experience.
- 1–2 years Military Experience.
- International Assn for Healthcare Security & Safety (IAHSS) Advanced Certification Preferred.
- International Assn for Healthcare Security & Safety (IAHSS) Safety Certification Preferred.
- International Assn for Healthcare Security & Safety (IAHSS) Basic Certification Preferred.
- Driver's License Required.
