Duties & Responsibilities
Primary Job Role: Maintains a minimum set of tools required for job performance.
Works in a neat, orderly, and safe manner while caring for and maintaining company machines/equipment.
Demonstrates utilization of dealer computer systems for work orders and other documentation.
Repairs or replaces defective parts on machinery/equipment. Disassembles components and properly cleans parts. Inspects components to ensure maximum parts are being reused to control repair costs. Tests, diagnoses, and adjusts failures of equipment.
Creates repair estimates and submits information to substantiate quotes and estimates. Prepares all parts requisitions, time cards, or service reports, as requested by the supervisor. Ensures they are legible and accurate with sufficient detail for service accounting needs.
Works under the guidance of a qualified shop or field service technician in the disassembly, repair, re-assembly, and testing of components.
Monitors job expenses versus repair estimates and ensures that the lead person is aware of any cost overrun prior to the job being completed. Assumes the lead person position temporarily, as necessary.
Maintains personal company service literature and maintains a high awareness of technical changes in the industry.
Performs other duties as assigned.

QualificationsEducation and Experience: High School diploma or GED; 1-5 Years experience.
Required / Credentials: Able to easily and effectively comprehend written material and communicate orally and in writing with employees and customers. Must possess a valid Class E Driver’s License.
Not Required but Highly Desired Criteria: High School education including a specialized technical course or equivalent years of experience as a Technician preferred.
Working EnvironmentWork is typically performed after regular business hours with occasional requirements to work days, holidays, and weekends.
