Essential Functions

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following.

Mowing, trimming, planting, pruning, corrective pruning, and fertilization.

Stand, walk, crouch, stoop and/or kneel.

The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 50lbs.

Maintain a clean and orderly work area.

Be able to operate a variety of mechanical equipment including but not limited to bed edgers, commercial mowers, blowers, dump trailers, chain saws, line trimmers, and tillers.

Communicates property issues and/or concerns to the Maintenance Crew Leader or Management.

Demonstrates accuracy and thoroughness and completes work in a timely manner.

Able to deal with frequent change, delays, or unexpected events and reacts well under pressure.

Follows policies and procedures and uses equipment and materials properly.

Observes safety and security procedures and report potentially unsafe conditions.

Strives to continuously build knowledge and skills.

Is consistently at work and on time and commits to long hours of work when necessary to reach goals.

Regularly exposed to wet and/or humid conditions, outside weather (heat or cold), for extended periods each day.
