• Install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair residential and commercial HVAC systems and related components.
• Perform diagnostic tests and inspections to identify system malfunctions.
• Replace defective parts, wiring, and controls as needed.
• Calibrate thermostats and other system controls for optimal performance.
• Read and interpret blueprints, technical diagrams, and manufacturer specifications.
• Complete required service reports, documentation, and work orders accurately and on time.
• Follow company policies, safety procedures, and regulatory guidelines, including EPA standards.
• Provide professional, courteous service and communicate clearly with customers regarding service issues and solutions.
• Participate in ongoing training to stay up to date with industry developments and certifications.

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification or vocational training preferred.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in HVAC installation, maintenance, or repair preferred.
• Strong knowledge of HVAC systems, electrical systems, and mechanical components.
• Ability to safely operate hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.

• Frequently required to stand, walk, bend, kneel, crouch, crawl, climb ladders, and work in tight or elevated spaces.
• Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull up to 50 pounds regularly and occasionally more with assistance.
• Manual dexterity to operate tools, controls, and equipment.
• Visual and hearing acuity sufficient to diagnose system issues and communicate effectively.
• Ability to tolerate exposure to varying temperatures, dust, noise, and other environmental conditions associated with HVAC work.

• Work performed in homes, businesses, construction sites, attics, basements, and outdoors.
• Drug Free workplace.
• May be exposed to weather conditions, chemicals, electrical hazards, and confined spaces.
• Regularly uses personal protective equipment (PPE) in accordance with company safety policies.

Typical schedule:

[e.g., Monday – Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.]. Overtime, evenings, weekends, and on-call rotations may be required based on business needs.
