About Children of America (COA). We are a diverse team committed to early childhood education. Our Assistant Teachers execute the curriculum alongside the Lead Teacher in a supportive environment that encourages growth and passion for the field. Our program serves preschool children 6 weeks to 12 years of age, with programs including Infant, Toddler, Preschool, Pre-K, Before and After Care and Summer Camp.

Note:
The salary advertised is an estimate, and the final salary will depend on your position, level of education, and experience.
This position interacts daily with the Lead Teacher, children, parents, the management team, and teaching staff.
Requirements- High School Diploma or GED required
- 1 year of experience in a licensed childcare
- Flexible in challenging situations
- Strong organizational skills
- Able to build strong relationships
- Commitment to professional development
- Effective decision making
- Must be First Aid/CPR trained
- Must meet all state requirements
- Directly support Lead Teacher in carrying out daily lessons
- Willingness to grow into Lead Teacher roles
- Communicating appropriately/professionally with parents and fellow staff
- Excellent writing skills
- Ability to use technology to deliver child progress
- Ensure a safe structured learning environment
- Empathetic to children s emotions and parents needs
- Present expectations appropriate to the child s age
- Be creative, passionate about your work and have fun
