Electronics Technician – Test Lab (1st Shift) – Automotive Electronics

Nidec Mobility America Corporation (NMOA) is seeking an energetic and focused Electronics Technician.

We are a world leader in sensing and control technology, providing automotive OEMs with advanced systems.

• Assists in creating new electronic product designs based on customer requests or internal development plans
• Assists with electronic part procurement
• Builds prototypes and test fixtures, modifies circuit boards, and assists in testing
• Assists in the development of electronic component test plans
• Assists in the design and development of test systems
• Performs testing according to test plans or work instructions
• Supports bench level investigations
• Conducts experiments, manages and generates accurate records and/or reports of testing completed
• Performs other job related and support activity duties as required

1+ year’s Electronics Technician experience or Associate’s Degree (Electronics).

• Knowledge/performance of all laboratory technician skills and equipment
• Excellent understanding of Microsoft Office, advanced Excel preferred
• Soldering of electronic components and PCB level repair
• Ability to read and interpret schematic drawings
• Advanced knowledge of SMT rework and repair
• Good organizational skills and interpersonal skills
