Electrical Engineer

An established civil/environmental engineering and surveying firm in the suburbs of Chicago is looking to add an Electrical Engineer to their team! This individual can work out of either St. Charles or Oak Brook.

• Develop the basis of design and coordinate electrical elements in support of process design.
• Prepare drawings and specifications and support construction phase services.
• Provide electrical engineering support for a wide range of infrastructure projects serving the municipal sector (water and wastewater treatment facilities, including physical buildings).

• BS in Electrical Engineering
• 2+ years of experience
• EIT, eligible to sit for a PE
• Expertise with low and medium voltage industrial distribution
• Expertise in preparation of electrical schematic diagrams, wiring diagrams, P&IDs, and single line drawings
• Experience in the preparation of procurement specifications for electrical distributions and controls equipment
• Must have experience within building design, wastewater treatment facilities, transportation, or manufacturing facility projects.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Saint Charles, IL. This is a fully onsite position in Saint Charles, IL.

The pay range for this position is $38.46 - $48.08/hr.
