Location: St. Charles
Title
Certified Scrub Technician (Full-Time)
Salary$24.00 - $35.00 per hour, based on skill and experience level.
Responsibilities- Assist physicians with instrumentation during surgical interventions.
- Monitor PAR levels of all surgical instruments and supplies.
- Clean and sterilize all surgical instruments.
- Participate in staff meetings and performance improvement activities.
- Work under the direction and supervision of a Registered Nurse.
- Read and communicate effectively in English; additional languages preferred.
- Understand growth and development across the lifespan to provide age-appropriate patient care.
- Knowledge of surgical instruments and techniques, including instrument and needle counts.
- Possess isolation techniques and terminal cleaning procedures for surgical instruments and rooms.
- Demonstrate good interpersonal relationships with patients, co-workers, and other health team members.
- Utilize recognized channels of communication and maintain professional conduct.
- High School graduate or equivalent.
- Graduate of an approved Certified Scrub School with certification preferred, or one (1) year of on‑the‑job experience.
