Position: Certified Scrub Technician (Full-Time)

Certified Scrub Technician (Full-Time)

Salary

$24.00 - $35.00 per hour, based on skill and experience level.

Responsibilities

• Assist physicians with instrumentation during surgical interventions.
• Monitor PAR levels of all surgical instruments and supplies.
• Clean and sterilize all surgical instruments.
• Participate in staff meetings and performance improvement activities.
• Work under the direction and supervision of a Registered Nurse.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

• Read and communicate effectively in English; additional languages preferred.
• Understand growth and development across the lifespan to provide age-appropriate patient care.
• Knowledge of surgical instruments and techniques, including instrument and needle counts.
• Possess isolation techniques and terminal cleaning procedures for surgical instruments and rooms.
• Demonstrate good interpersonal relationships with patients, co-workers, and other health team members.
• Utilize recognized channels of communication and maintain professional conduct.

Education & Experience

• High School graduate or equivalent.
• Graduate of an approved Certified Scrub School with certification preferred, or one (1) year of on‑the‑job experience.
