Our mission is to connect people, promote local businesses, and give back through impactful community initiatives and events.

Job Summary

The Executive Director serves as the strategic and operational leader of the Chamber, responsible for advancing its mission, vision, and values. This individual will lead the organization’s daily operations, staff, and volunteers with energy and vision—cultivating trust, engagement, and collaboration among members, sponsors, local nonprofits, and community leaders. Core responsibilities include membership engagement, fundraising and event leadership, strategic community partnerships, and organizational management to ensure sustainable growth and impact.

Key Responsibilities
Membership Growth & Engagement
  • Build strong, trusting relationships with current members and actively recruit new members.
  • Develop and deliver programs and initiatives that increase engagement, retention, and member value.
  • Serve as a visible and approachable leader who connects authentically through conversations and community involvement.
Fundraising & Event Leadership
  • Plan, lead, and execute fundraising initiatives—including major community events, networking opportunities, and partnerships with local nonprofits.
  • Drive sponsorship and grant opportunities to sustain and grow Chamber programs.
  • Represent the Chamber at events and ensure a high-energy, welcoming environment that fosters collaboration.
Organizational & Financial Leadership
  • Oversee daily operations, staff, and volunteers to ensure smooth, effective delivery of Chamber services.
  • Develop and manage the annual budget to ensure financial health and transparency.
  • Implement efficient operational systems, policies, and procedures that align with the Chamber’s strategic priorities.
Board & Community Relations
  • Collaborate closely with the Board of Directors to execute strategic plans and initiatives.
  • Provide clear, consistent updates and recommendations to the Board.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with civic, nonprofit, and business leaders to enhance the Chamber’s visibility and influence.
Strategic & Community Leadership
  • Champion local business interests by connecting members with resources, opportunities, and advocacy.
  • Position the Chamber as a trusted partner and connector within the business and nonprofit ecosystem.
  • Lead with enthusiasm and initiative, ensuring the Chamber continues to be a respected leader in the community.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in business, nonprofit management, communications, or related field preferred.
  • Proven leadership or management experience within a chamber, business association, or community organization.
  • Strong financial management and fundraising skills, including event and sponsorship development.
  • Excellent communication, relationship-building, and public‑speaking abilities.
  • Energetic, approachable, and able to foster trust and engagement across diverse stakeholders.
  • Strategic thinker with strong execution skills and community‑building mindset.
