• Under RN supervision, assess patients’ physical, psychological, and social dimensions in healthcare and housing units, contributing to individualized treatment planning and consulting with staff as needed.
• Implement treatment programs guided by Health Care Practitioners, administer medications—including IV therapy (if certified)—and perform diagnostic tests according to established protocols.
• Collaborate in controlled‑substance counts at shift start, adhere to safety techniques and standard precautions, and respond to codes or health emergencies within guidelines.
• Assist in medical or minor surgical procedures, implement nutrition and therapeutic diet plans, and document nursing encounters using SOAP charting to ensure effective communication with nursing staff, physicians, and other personnel.
• Attend mandatory staff meetings and training sessions, demonstrating commitment to continuous professional development and adherence to policies and procedures for high‑quality patient care.

Part‑time LPN position at Kane County Jail. 16 hours per week, 7am‑3:30pm, rotating every other weekend.

• Graduate from an accredited school of nursing.

• Prefer a minimum of one (1) year of clinic experience.

• Maintain current licensure as a Licensed Practical or Licensed Vocational Nurse within the state of employment.
• Maintain CPR certification.
