Position: Salesperson/Store Driver  Store 7147
Location: St. Charles

Job Overview

Entry-level sales position that supports the DIY business and helps achieve our sales and service objectives. The role requires good knowledge of store systems, basic automotive system knowledge, and basic part knowledge. The role must be able to source parts from stores, hubs, pdq, and external suppliers, and have in-depth knowledge of store inventory and maintenance processes. The position can be part-time or full-time.

Fleet safety certification preferred.

Primary Responsibilities

• Provide excellent selling experience for DIY customer visits and phone calls
• Achieve personal sales goal and help store achieve its sales goals
• Provide DIY services including battery installation, testing, wiper installs, etc.
• Maintain store product and operational standards
• Responsible for inventory processes including truck put away, cycle counts, back stock, etc.

Secondary Responsibilities

• Maintain store cleanliness (floors, bathrooms, facing, dusting, parking lot)
• General stocking including truck stocking and back stock
• Safely deliver parts to customers as needed

• Ability to work an assortment of days, evenings, and weekends as needed

Prior Experience for Salesperson

• 2-3 years of successful sales experience in a diverse retail environment, providing superior customer experiences

Driver Job Overview

Entry-level store position that delivers parts to commercial customers and assists with task and inventory processes in the store. Position can be part-time or full-time and must be fleet safety certified.

Primary Responsibilities for Driver

• Safely deliver parts to customers as needed
• Pick and stage parts for customer orders
• Pick up returns and cores
• Drop off weekly/monthly sales flyer
• Daily collection of credit accounts

Physical Demands

The physical demands for this job include walking or standing, talking, hearing, using hands and fingers, reaching, climbing, and moving up to 50 pounds frequently and occasionally up to 100 pounds. Visual requirements include close vision, distance vision, color vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.

Work Environment

Employees typically work inside but occasionally outside exposed to weather, mechanical parts, high places, chemicals, electrical shock risks, and vibration. Noise level is usually moderate.

Compensation

15.00 USD per hour – 15.41 USD per hour.
