$15.00 - $20.00 per hour. Additional compensation may include annual, quarterly performance, or premiums based on schedule, facility, season, or specific work performed. Multiple premiums may apply if applicable criteria are met.
Role OverviewThe Retail Service Specialist supports the Store Manager and Assistant Managers in sales, customer service, store appearance, and store operations. The position also assumes shift management responsibilities in the absence of executive or store manager. Bilingual candidates are encouraged to apply.
Essential Job Functions- Lead store team members in providing excellent customer service to retail and professional customers.
- Supervise customer service levels on the retail showroom, ensuring team member execution on programs such as Related sales, Hi5, Rock the Call, Never Say No, Rock the Lot, etc.
- Ensure the telephone is answered according to company policy.
- Process buy online/ship to store, hub and store‑to‑store transfers, and DC add orders in a timely manner; contact customers upon shipment arrivals as needed.
- Handle special orders and outside purchases efficiently and according to procedure, utilizing electronic outside purchase order ledger.
- Process retail customer returns and exchanges efficiently, issue refunds accurately using correct payment methods, and stage returned merchandise correctly.
- Invoice all merchandise, including core charges and warranties, before product leaves the store.
- Communicate Zipline messages and delegate Image Maker and merchandising tasks as assigned.
- Ensure team members adhere to posted schedules, seek approval for changes, and clock in/out according to company policy.
- Perform all store opening/closing duties, including day‑end procedures, securing money/deposits, preparing bank deposits, ensuring night security lights are on, locking doors, arming alarms, and securing delivery vehicles.
- Other duties as assigned.
Required
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to obtain RSS Certification
Desired
- Retail sales experience, preferably in auto parts
- Automotive systems and repair knowledge
- ASE Certification
- Fluency in multiple languages (Spanish highly desired)
