The primary functions of the Delivery Helper are to load, locate job sites, back up, prepare and restore the job site, and prepare the truck for the following day while maintaining the truck and equipment.

• Compliance with company, state, and federal guidelines, particularly OSHA and DOT, for the safety of all personnel.
• Perform pre‑trip inspections of equipment, paperwork, and loaded product to ensure accuracy of the order.
• Safely unload product and deliver to assigned area as directed by the customer.
• Secure mud, equipment, metal, and pallet on the truck.
• Navigate routes to the job site.

• Ability to read, write, and communicate information accurately.
• Stamina to lift at least 75 lbs. in order to carry materials such as drywall and joint compound.

• Must be able to remain standing 90% of the time.
• Constantly move from unloading materials from commercial motor vehicles onto the job site.
• Constantly position self to unload and load materials from flatbed or boom.
• Frequently move materials weighing up to 100 lbs. while unloading and loading flatbed.
• Communicate with management and coworkers and exchange accurate information in these situations.
• Work in an outside environment while making deliveries.

• Prioritize job sites and deadlines.
• Manage stress depending on customer’s deadline.
• Multitask efficiently.
• Receive information and directions swiftly.
• Communicate solutions quickly if problems occur.
• Demonstrate a high degree of sound judgment.
