Accounts Payable Supervisor

This is a supervisory role at a growing company. You will be responsible for overseeing the accounts payable function and ensuring timely and accurate payments of invoices as well as leading a team of four AP clerks. This role also approves employee expense reports as well as prepares monthly and annual journal entries for accounting. Our ideal candidate has strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.

$80,000.00/yr - $85,000.00/yr

This role includes the following day-to-day responsibilities:

• Supervision of team of four AP clerks
• Ensure invoices are paid appropriately and timely
• Preparation of monthly journal entries for accounting
• Monthly reconciliation of AP accounts
• Review expense reports in accordance with company policy
• Annual 1099 preparation

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to effectively lead.
• High school diploma or equivalent;
  Associates or Bachelor's degree preferred.
• 3-5 years of experience in Accounts Payable.
• 1-2 years of supervisory experience.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Great Plains preferred.
• Proficiency in MS Excel, accounting software, and databases.
