** Purpose of the Role
** This role is responsible for processing invoices received for payment and undertaking the payment of all vendors and employee expenses in an accurate, efficient and timely manner.
** Key Responsibilities and Duties
*** Process outgoing payments in compliance with financial policies and procedures
* Perform day to day financial transactions, including verifying, classifying, and recording accounts payable data
* Verify and investigate discrepancies, if any, by reconciling vendor accounts and monthly vendor statements
* Generate reports detailing accounts payables status
* Understand expense accounts and cost centers
* Reconcile vendor statements to internal records## Qualifications
** Required Competencies**
* ** Education**:
High school diploma or relevant experience
* ** Experience**:
Experience as Accounts Payable Clerk or similar position
* ** Skills**:  + Solid understanding of basic bookkeeping and accounting payable principles  + Ability to calculate, post and manage accounting figures and financial records  + Knack for numbers  + Proficient with MS Office  + High degree of accuracy and attention to detail  +

- Certify  + Knowledge of accounting principles
