Salary$16.41 per hour
Reports ToBuilding Administrator
Job SummaryThe Café Aide supports the cafeteria's operations by monitoring student behavior, assisting students, and maintaining a clean and safe environment.
Key Responsibilities- Assist students with tasks like opening packages and locating food lines.
- Provide emergency support during evacuations and ensure student safety.
- Maintain cafeteria cleanliness and order, reminding students of proper behavior.
- Supervise students to ensure a safe and positive environment.
- Encourage good social behavior among students.
- Respond to inquiries and provide direction as needed.
- Perform additional assigned duties.
- Education:
High school diploma or equivalent (preferred). - Experience:
Some job‑related experience is desired.
- Adherence to safety practices
- Basic communication and record‑keeping
- Operation of standard equipment
- Basic math
- Child development stages
- Relevant policies and regulations
- Manage tasks effectively
- Work well with others
- Problem‑solve independently
- Maintain confidentiality
- Adapt to changes
This is a part‑time position and does not include benefits.
