Cimarron is seeking senior-level Electronic Systems Design, Analysis, and Test Engineers to support an advanced aerospace development effort for the Phantom Works program in St. Charles, MO. This innovative program focuses on next-generation technologies for defense and flight systems.
Key Duties- Understand and apply engineering practices, techniques, standards, principles, theories, and concepts to system development and integration.
- Develop, document, and maintain electronic and electrical system requirements in alignment with contract requirements and customer feedback.
- Develop statements of work and technical performance specifications to define system scope and deliverables.
- Analyze, translate, and implement requirements into system architecture, hardware, software designs, and interface specifications, ensuring full traceability throughout the product lifecycle.
- Define test and validation approaches to ensure system designs meet operational and functional requirements.
- Resolve product integration issues and production anomalies to support continuous improvement and system reliability.
- Investigate emerging technologies to develop concepts for future product designs that meet evolving program and business needs.
- Monitor supplier performance to ensure proper system integration, quality, and compliance with requirements.
- Develop and document complex electronic and electrical system requirements for advanced hardware and software systems.
- Design and maintain hardware, software, and interface specifications to ensure system compatibility and performance.
- Identify and resolve issues related to fielded hardware and software throughout the product lifecycle.
- Due to facility security requirements, only U.S. citizens are eligible for consideration at this time.
- Ability to obtain a Secret Clearance in a reasonable timeframe.
- Ability to obtain Special Program Access or other government access requirements, if needed.
- 20 or more years of related experience.
- Bachelor of Science from an accredited course of study in Engineering, Chemistry, Physics, Mathematics, Data Science, or Computer Science.
- Experience in the aerospace industry.
- Strong communication, analytical, and organizational skills with demonstrated ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Experience working on design, build, or test teams.
- Experience creating, developing, and maintaining engineering processes.
- Experience with electronic and electrical system design, or with test plan development and execution based on system requirements.
- Strong knowledge of data structures, system design, and architecture.
