Description
We are seeking a friendly, reliable, and guest-focused Front Desk Agent to join our team at an IHG-branded hotel
. The ideal candidate has prior hotel front desk experience, is comfortable working in a fast-paced environment, and is committed to delivering exceptional guest service in alignment with IHG brand standards.
- Greet and assist guests in a warm, professional manner following IHG service standards
- Complete guest check-ins and check-outs accurately and efficiently
- Handle reservations, room assignments, and payment processing
- Respond to guest inquiries, concerns, and requests promptly and professionally
- Maintain accurate guest records and ensure data integrity within the PMS
- Follow all hotel policies, procedures, and brand standards
- Communicate effectively with housekeeping, maintenance, and management
- Ensure compliance with safety, security, and credit card handling procedures
Qualifications & Requirements:
- Minimum of 1 year hotel front desk experience required
- Hands-on experience using Opera and/or Hotel Key PMS systems required
- Previous experience working at an IHG-branded property or familiarity with IHG brand standards and service culture
- Strong understanding of and ability to deliver IHG’s “True Hospitality” service standards
- Excellent guest service skills with a professional, friendly, and welcoming demeanor
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to multitask, prioritize, and remain organized in a fast-paced environment
- Comfortable handling cash, credit card transactions, and balancing shift reports
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to professionally handle guest concerns and resolve issues in alignment with IHG guest recovery standards
- Reliable, punctual, and dependable attendance
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team
- Flexible availability
, including mornings, evenings, overnights, weekends, and holidays - Basic computer proficiency (email, Microsoft Office, and web-based systems)
- Knowledge of hotel safety, security, and guest confidentiality standards
- Ability to stand for extended periods
Compensation: $16 hourly to start
