HR Manager

Description

We are looking for an experienced
HR Manager
to help support employees and managers across multiple locations. You will work closely with theHR Director andtake thelead on employee relations, workplace investigations, employee discipline and terminations, unemployment claims, leave requests, accommodations, and HR compliance. Thisis a hands-on position whereyou will be expected to manageHR issues independently and help managers handle difficult employee situations.

• Investigate employee complaints and workplace issues.
• Interview employees and document findings.
• Write investigation reports and make recommendations.
• Help managers resolve employee problems.

• Review employee disciplinary documentation.
• Make sure disciplinary actions are fairand properly documented.
• Help manage employee terminations.
• Handle unemployment claimsand hearings.

• Manage FMLA andshort-term disability leave.
• Help employees returnto work after leave.
• Manage ADA accommodation requests.
• Make sure HR deadlines and legal requirements are met.

• Coach managers on handling difficult conversations.
• Help managers with employee performance and disciplinary issues.
• Assist with interviews and hiring.
• Help develop manager training.

• 5+ years ofHR experience.
• Strong experience with employee relations and workplace investigations.
• Knowledge of FMLA, ADA, FLSA, TitleVII, and Missouri employment laws.
• Experience working with multiple locations anda large hourly workforce.
• Bachelor's degree inHR, Business, ora related field, or equivalent experience.
• SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, PHR, orSPHR certification is preferred.
