Work closely with the Systems Administrator to ensure that technology is operational and available to all users by installing, repairing and maintaining computer network equipment, documenting and resolving immediate operational and safety concerns. Assist in the design and implementation and maintenance of infrastructure systems.

Responsibilities

• Assess malfunctions of hardware, software, and system networks
• Propose solutions to Systems Administrator
• Assist with training staff on new and existing software
• Installation and setup of equipment, supplies and materials
• Maintain and repair network hardware
• Diagnose and troubleshoot desktop issues
• Provide resolution and prevention of security issues
• Knowledge and understanding of IT networking

Requirements

• Two to four years of IT related education or experience
• Excellent customer service skills
• Ability to learn new technologies
• Firewall configuration and management is a plus
• HPE/Aruba switch gear experience preferred but not required
• Must be a U.S. Person

May be required to obtain and maintain a U.S. Security Clearance at the appropriate level. Requires U.S. Citizenship. Must also be able to satisfy federal government requirements for access to government information, and having dual citizenship may preclude you from being able to meet this requirement.
