Business Technology Opportunity:
Project Information Management Lead
iSuite L.L.C. is seeking a qualified professional to join our Business Technology team. iSuite is a business support services organization formed in 2023. The organization provides business development and pursuit, estimating, safety, accounting, human resources, information technology, marketing, and training services to clients within the Architecture, Engineering, and Construction (A/E/C) industry.
This shared-services company supports the IMI business units and provides a uniform,
employee-based culture founded on our Support the Build mentality. This mentality aligns
with our employee-owned company so that all personnel take an owner’s mindset approach to our business. iSuite is headquartered in Nashville, TN and has branches in Granite City, IL, Chesterfield, MO and Charlotte, NC.
We are currently looking for a Project Information Management Lead to join our Business Technology team located at our headquarters in Granite City, IL or located remotely. Our ideal candidate for a Project Information Management Lead is someone who has 7+
years of experience and will be responsible for defining the information standards, governance, and systems of record for Icon Mechanical's complex, capital-intensive projects, and for owning Enterprise Document Management (EDM) across IMI Companies
- Work with Project Managers, Project Controls, and Engineering to define the critical information, data structures, and workflows required to deliver projects successfully; identify where information exists in silos or manual systems and design integrated, standardized approaches
- Establish data standards, naming conventions, metadata, taxonomies, and retention rules for project documents, schedules, budgets, and field data to ensure consistency, searchability, and traceability across projects and systems
- Design EDM and project controls workflows that integrate with the Digital Thread, reducing redundancy and improving access to authoritative project information for all stakeholders
- Establish and maintain the system-of-record map for project information across IMI entities — which platform is authoritative for each type of project information (contracts, schedules, drawings and models, cost, correspondence, field records), how other systems are fed from it, and how exceptions are handled — and govern changes to it
- Define the data definitions, workflow designs, requirements, and acceptance criteria for systems that support project controls processes, including scheduling, budgeting, change management, and field data collection, and partner with the Business Technology development team, which owns the build and configuration
- Own and optimize the EDM platform, including version control, access permissions, and collaboration across distributed project teams and all IMI entities, to improve speed and reduce errors in information retrieval
- Pilot new information systems and workflows with real projects, gather feedback, and iterate to ensure solutions are practical and add measurable value to project teams
- Partner with Project Managers, Engineering, Fabrication, and Field Operations to understand pain points, define requirements, and translate them into solutions that improve project outcomes
- Monitor project information systems in use, gather feedback, and identify opportunities to improve data quality, system performance, or process efficiency
- Partner with the Business Technology architecture and leadership teams to ensure project information systems align with the overall Digital Thread strategy and technical standards
