Purpose of Position
The Automated Calibration Systems Operator is an entry-level role responsible for operating automated calibration systems and supporting the accuracy of biomedical and general-purpose measuring and test equipment (M&TE). This position focuses on ensuring that automated calibration rigs and software-driven systems run as expected, results are documented accurately, and operations comply with established quality standards.
This role is ideal for individuals eager to start a career in metrology and automation within the biomedical test equipment industry, offering training and growth opportunities while working alongside experienced professionals.
THIS IS AN ENTRY LEVEL ROLE.
Job Duties
- Operate and monitor automated calibration systems, ensuring proper systems operation.
- Follow Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), calibration procedures, and work instructions.
- Use maintenance tracking software and automation tools to execute calibration tasks and record results.
- Perform duties in compliance with Quality Standards and Regulations, including ANSI Z540-1, ISO 17025, ISO 13485, ISO 9001.
- Document calibration processes and results using Good Documentation Practices (GDPs)
- Promote workplace safety and uphold company standards of ethics and integrity.
- Report issues with the automated systems when needed.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma
- Effectively use computers, software, and automation systems as required in performance of assigned duties.
- Proficient with Windows, Microsoft Office, Word with an emphasis on Excel required.
- Strong attention to details with accurate documentation and complete record reporting.
- Ability to follow detailed instructions and procedures consistently.
- Ability to work independently.
