Purpose of Position

A Circuit Board Assembly Technician will be responsible for the meticulous assembly of electronic circuit boards according to specified guidelines and quality standards. This role involves working with precision tools, soldering equipment, and following detailed assembly instructions. The ideal candidate possesses a strong attention to detail, manual dexterity, and a passion for producing high-quality electronic components.

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret assembly instructions, blueprints, and schematics to assemble electronic circuit boards.
• Perform Hand soldering, surface mount soldering, and through-hole soldering as required.
• Conduct thorough inspections of completed circuit boards to ensure they meet quality standards.
• Identify and rectify defects or discrepancies in the assembly process.
• Required adherence to all assembly protocols, safety guidelines and ESD (Electrostatic Discharge) precautions.

• Previous Circuit board production experience required
• Previous experience with SMT Line, selective soldering and AOI equipment a plus.
• IPC certification a plus
• Proficient with hand tools. Screwdrivers, wrenches, side cutters, etc...
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Quality minded with attention to detail.
• Regular attendance and daily punctuality are critical in performing the job.
• Excellent teamwork skills
• Ability to work independently and efficiently
