Job Summary

Are you a dynamic and detail-oriented Manufacturing Process Technician specializing in Test Hardware and Software? Do you enjoy a high paced work environment with dynamic teams, exceptional high quality principles and the autonomy to make a positive impact on the business? Do you love hands on work in the Automotive Manufacturing business? Have you worked with Keysight/Agilent 3070 systems? Then you might be interested in our Manufacturing Process Technician position.

Here are a few details of the job:

Core Hardware Responsibilities

ICT Test Fixture & Keysight/Agilent 3070 System Maintenance

  • Test Fixture Change-overs:

    - Perform test fixture change-overs on the ICT test systems based on production needs.
  • Re-wire, repair, and replace worn or bent pogo pins (test probes), sockets, and personality pins within bed-of-nails fixtures.
  • Troubleshoot fixture electrical path issues (e.g., high-resistance connections, broken wire wraps, floating grounds, or intermittent shorts).
  • Repair mechanical actuators, vacuum seal gaskets, hold-down rods, and pneumatic pressure plates to maintain proper physical alignment during actuation.
  • Perform routine preventive maintenance (PM) on the 3070 mainframe, including power supply checks, system calibration, air filter cleaning, and cooling fan replacements.
  • Diagnose and replace faulty system cards (Control Cards, Pin Cards, Hybrid Cards, ASRU modules, or System Power Supplies) using diagnostic software routines.
  • Ability to solder/unsolder or touch-up through-hole and SMT components on system cards.
  • Clean and inspect interface receiver pins to prevent high-contact resistance or frame damage.
  • Run periodic diagnostic routines (fixture test, fixture health checks, and self-tests) on the 3070 platform to verify system pin integrity.
  • Perform "Golden Board" verifications to ensure fixtures are working correctly.
  • Log fixture insertion counts to execute preventive probe replacements before contact degradation affects line yields.
Core Test Software Responsibilities
  • Update, edit, and debug test routines written in BT-Basic (testplan, analog functional, digital functional, unpowered analog tests).
  • Adjust test limits, delays, and guard ratios to eliminate false failures, marginal passes, or intermittent open/short flags caused by component tolerances.
  • Use BT-Basic debug environments to step through failing test nodes, analyze analog measurement waveforms, and isolate software bugs from actual hardware faults.
  • Adjust digital vector timings, drive levels, and receive thresholds for digital IC testing.
  • Ensure all software edits pass engineering validation ("Golden Board" run) before releasing the updated test files back to the active production line.
