Our Lamar office in Collinsville, Illinois is now hiring a new Sales Account Executive (salary + commission) to bring innovative outdoor advertising campaigns to life for brands in the Collinsville, IL area and the surrounding regions.
The position covers the I-70 and the St. Louis Metro area.

- Monday‑Friday 8am – 5pm work schedule with paid holidays, combining office time with field sales.

- Current and valid driver’s license.
- College degree preferred.
- Previous outdoor advertising sales experience preferred.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
- CRM experience preferred.

A Day In The Life- Meet and exceed sales targets and monitor personal sales data and reports.
- Target businesses in the assigned area and visit each established Lamar client as well as competitor clients.
- Show working knowledge of local and national competition.
- Cluster accounts to work them efficiently.
- Identify potential growth areas and open new accounts.
- Use Lamar tools to locate prospects, follow up on leads, and prepare proposals, presentations, and research.
- Develop presentation skills and present to clients regularly.
- Develop new product knowledge and selling skills.
- Participate in sales meetings, regional meetings, seminars, and trade shows.
- Perform administrative duties:
- Maintain daily, weekly, and monthly sales plans a month in advance.
- Follow up on all client production orders and problem‑solve any issues.
- Maintain organized and up‑to‑date client and sales activity records.
