Job Description Truck Centers, Inc. is growing, and we’re looking for Service Technicians and Certified Diesel Mechanics at all experience levels to join our team. As a Diesel Technician, you play a crucial role in our Service department, helping keep our customers on the road by delivering top-notch repairs and maintenance. Shifts Available:
We have two shift options:
Tuesday-Friday 1pm-11pm Monday-Thursday 1pm-11pm We are pleased to offer a sign-on bonus of up to $7,500 based on experience. WHAT YOU'LL DO:
Perform consistent, high-quality work according to OEM, warranty, and dealership standards. Read repair orders, observe and listen to vehicle operation, obtain diagnostics information, identify root cause malfunctions, plan work procedures, and perform necessary repairs on a vehicle as authorized. Tackle general and major repairs across various truck systems, including engines, transmissions, suspensions, brakes, HVAC, electronics, and more. Document your diagnostic findings, repair progress, and completed work thoroughly to keep our customers informed and ensure smooth warranty processing.

Work closely with the Parts department to verify parts and collaborate with the Shop Foreman and Service Administration team for status updates or assistance. Ensure every repair meets quality standards by performing checks and road tests to confirm the issue is resolved. What We're Looking For:

Valid Driver's License with ability to meet insurance requirements is required Class B CDL with air brake endorsement preferred;
Class A CDL highly preferred Certificate from a diesel tech training school or a minimum of 4 years mechanical medium- or heavy-duty truck service experience in a shop setting or military installation Demonstrated mechanical aptitude and commitment to providing quality work Welding and fabrication skills are a plus Candidates must have their own tools; TCI provides specialty and OEM-required tooling for on-site, communal use Must participate in a pre-employment background check and drug screen.
