Job Description
We are seeking a Deck Installer to construct and install residential wood decks, composite decks, multi-level decks, and commercial decks. The role requires skilled carpentry, attention to detail, and a strong commitment to safety, quality, and building-code compliance.
Responsibilities
- Install footings and construct deck framing.
- Install wood and composite decking.
- Install railings and construct stairs.
- Read and interpret blueprints for deck construction.
- Ensure completed work complies with applicable building codes.
- Conduct safety inspections throughout each project.
- Use power tools and hand tools safely and effectively.
- Maintain a clean and orderly job site.
Required Qualifications
- At least 1 year of experience in deck installation.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Knowledge of carpentry, woodworking, and construction mathematics.
- Ability to read blueprints and apply building codes.
- Proficiency with power tools and hand tools.
- Strong attention to detail and safety awareness.
