• Visit patients on Hospice care as a volunteer with a certified pet therapy dog.
• Provide companionship and emotional support, fostering joy, humor, love, and companionship to patients during the end‑of‑life journey.

• Must own a certified pet therapy dog.
• Dog must be well‑behaved and calm around patients.
• Volunteer must be compassionate and able to interact calmly with hospice patients and families.

• The unconditional, non‑judgmental love that pets provide.
• Reduced feelings of loneliness and anxiety; encouragement to socialize.
• Having something to look forward to.

• The gratification of bringing smiles to patients, families and staff.
• The chance to witness firsthand the impact a dog can have on lives.
