Salary Range: $80,000 - $110,000 / Year DOE

- Manage a personal docket of bankruptcy cases involving creditor representation.
- Handle hearings before administrative bodies and state/federal judges.
- Draft and file pleadings, motions, and other court documents accurately and efficiently.
- Oversee case timelines, task assignments, and deadlines to ensure smooth progress of all matters.
- Communicate professionally with clients, court staff, and opposing counsel.
- Conduct legal research and provide strategic support to senior attorneys.
- Collaborate with partners and staff within a team-oriented bankruptcy department.
- Use Clio and other firm systems to manage files, track progress, and ensure compliance with internal procedures.
- Licensed to practice law in the State of Michigan.
- Minimum 2 years of bankruptcy law experience
- Strong understanding of bankruptcy procedures and court filings.
- Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Valid driver’s license for court appearances.
- Tech-savvy with proficiency in Microsoft Office
- Clio experience preferred.
- Highly organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable managing multiple cases at once.
- Must be local to the Metro Detroit area or willing to relocate.
- Prior experience in creditor representation or bankruptcy litigation preferred
- Confident handling hearings and client communications independently preferred
- Ability to manage time effectively in a fast-paced, project-based environment preferred
- A collaborative personality with a good sense of humor and fits in with a close-knit team that enjoys its work preferred
