Job Summary

We are looking for a Home Care Aide to join our team! You will be directly working with patients in their home, following a one-on-one care plan. You operate with a big heart, providing personalized and attentive care while building genuine relationships with those you serve. We service several counties, specifically hiring for the Southfield, Pontiac, and Troy areas in Oakland County.

Caregivers should be detail-oriented, highly organized, and committed to creating a healthy environment that meets patient needs. Strong verbal and written communication skills are essential for success in this role. Prior Home Health or Hospice experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assist patients with daily activities such as moving in and out of beds, baths, wheelchairs, or automobiles.
• Care for patients by changing bed linens, doing laundry, meal preparation, cleaning the home, assisting with personal care, and helping with shopping and medical appointments.
• Maintain records of patient care, condition, progress, or problems to report and discuss observations with the supervisor.
• Build relationships with patients by conversing or reading aloud to help keep them mentally healthy and alert.

Qualifications

• Home care experience.
• High School Diploma or GED.
• One-year prior professional experience.
• Driver’s license required.
• Ability to obtain CPR/FIRST AID certification within 60 days.
